This photo is from when I was flying the airplane out of Longview, WA. This was taken early in the morning..

Doug Eves sent this photo of the Ol' girl in flight. Taken from the ground, this is a great shot. You can see he is "relaxing" in his office in the sky...

It's been a few days

I have been slowing working on the engine. Mostly getting ready for painting. I have cataloged some parts and installed all of the 1/8 pipe plugs in the case and assy case. I have installed the oil pump and put a 1/8 fitting on the bottom of the sump for a sniffle valve to let fuel out when the engine stops.

IMPORTANT NOTE! While installing the oil pump on my Titan kit, we followed the ECI hardware Manual which called out a torque of 204 in/lbs. We subsequently broke a stud on the accessory case. We called ECI and they said this was an ERROR in the Manual and to use the Lycoming torque value of 150 in/lbs. ECI shipped me another case since the other three studs had been stressed...
